OUR VISION
The Lotus Fund aims to provide educational opportunities in rural Laos for ethnic girls living in poverty in isolated villages by assisting them to improve their life opportunities through regular attendance at school.
AIMS OF THE FUND
It is accepted that 50% of girls in rural Laos do not access to education.
The Lotus Educational Fund Ltd is committed to providing educational access for young ethnic minority girls in Laos. Furthermore the Trust is a voice advocating for the provision and importance of education for young girls living in rural areas.
Establish:
Through extensive fundraising efforts, the Lotus Educational Fund Ltd will assist in the registration and regular participation of Lao girls in schools. The Lotus Fund will also assist with the establishment of teaching resources for participating schools in the Savannahket province in southern Laos. It is hoped that our support will help to address the low participation rate of girls in schools in Laos as well as supporting poor families meet the educational needs of their young daughters.
